Wari Chora is a small village situated in the Meghalayan Garo hills surrounded by lush green forests.
As a local guide from the region explained: Wari of Wari Chora means a deep river or a depression in the river.
Garo hills are home to the Garo tribe, which is known for its unique culture and tradition. They have a rich history and deep connection with the land and their way of life revolves around nature.
Garos, who locally call themselves A.chik are known for their skill in hunting and their traditional knowledge of the medicinal properties of plants.

  飦琇ater we will also visit Siju Cave, also known as Bat Cave in English, is located in Simsang River game reserve. It is a limestone cave and is famous for its stalagmites and stalactites.
