Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Manali

  On arrive pick up & transfer to hotel, check in at hotel, day at leisure to visit on your own, overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 : In Manali

  Full day visit Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Rishi Temple and Vashisht Village,Tebetan Monastery, evening free to explore Manali market, overnight at hotel.

• Day 3 : Manali - Kaza over Rohtang Pass & Kunzum Pass (200kms).

  Drive from Manali to Kaza over Rohtang Pass (3980 m) & Kunzum Pass (4558 m). On the way visit Losar, Ragrik village, overnight at hotel.

• Day 4 : Visit Key kibber back to Kaza (full day)

  Visit the famous Kye gompa, of the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism, perched high on a pyramid-like mountain. Also explore Kibber (4200 m), one of the highest permanent inhabited villages in the world, which is located in a bowl - shaped narrow valley. Return to Kaza in the evening; explore this small town, overnight at hotel/ guesthouse.

• Day 5 : Kaza - Tabo via Pin Valley

  Travel from Kaza to Pin Valley, the land of Ibex and Snow Leopards. Visit Kungri monastery at Pin Valley. Continue drive to Tabo. Visit Tabo monastery. Founded in 996 AD by the great teacher Richensang-po, Tabo is renowned for its breathtaking murals and stucco images 鈥� and is often called 鈥淭he Ajanta of the Himalayas鈥�. The largest monastic complex in Spiti, the old section has 9 temples, 23 chortens, a monk鈥檚 chamber and a nun鈥檚 chamber. There are several caves adorned with frescoes and Contemporary structures too. In Trans Himalayan Buddhism, Tabo鈥檚 sanctity is next only to Tibet鈥檚 Tholing gompa, overnight at guest house.

• Day 6 : Tabo - Kaza via Dhankar

  Drive to Dhankar Visit gompa. This Gompa rests high over the valley and is a stupendous example of local architecture. It is regarded to have once been a fort and was also the residence of the ruler of Spiti 鈥� the Nano. On the way you will visit the Lalung Gompa. Continue drive to Kaza, overnight at Hotel / guest house.

• Day 7 : Kaza - Manali

  Drive back from Kaza to Manali enroute crossing over Kunzam Pass providing beautiful views of CB ranges and Rohtang Pass, on arrival checks in at hotel, overnight at hotel.
