Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVE LEH.聽

  Arrival聽Leh Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport聽one of the world highest operated airport in the world at 3500 mtr above sea level聽. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun in聽Zanskar valley. Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize followed by Welcome tea or Coffee at the Hotel. Evening Visit to聽Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 2 : LEH - EXCURSION TO SHAM

  After breakfast drive towards western part of Ladakh along the Indus river on Leh 鈥� Srinagar highway. And start sightseeing with聽Hall of Fame聽(Museum founded by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to聽Gurudwara Patthar Sahib聽founded in 15th聽century, Nestled deep in the Himalayas, drive ahead another 5 km for聽Magnetic Hill聽which defies the law of gravity & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reached the聽Confluence Of The Indus And Zanskar River. After visiting above places we drive back to Leh enroute visiting聽Spituk Monastery, Built in 11th century during the region of Gragspa 鈥楤um-lde, the monastery use to follow Kadampa school of Buddhism until 15th聽century where Gelukpa school of buddhism was started and still in practice with Gelukpa order. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

• Day 3 : LEH鈥揘UBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG LA 18,380 FT. (120 KMS / 4 鈥� 5 HRS) .

  After breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over聽Khardung La聽(The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,380 ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as聽Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level.
  
  Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our聽Camp / Hotel in Hunder聽for Overnight stay. In the evening you can walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the word and having a evening excursion for聽Camel Safari ride. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged. Overnight Stay at the Camp or Hotel.

• Day 4 : NUBRA - PANGONG LAKE聽聽

  Full day trip, after early breakfast leave for聽Pangong Lake drive聽154kms (5-6 hours drive )through聽shayok valley聽.Visit the聽Diskit & Hunder Village and Monasteries聽after that proceed toward beautiful聽Pangong Lake聽forms a part of the border area between India and China(the lake is said to be 70% in China & 30 % in India).This large, serene Lake at an altitude of 13930 feet above sea level has a brilliant聽colour variation including deep blue, turquoise etc. Overnight stay in camp.

• Day 5 : PANGONG LAKE鈥揕EH { via visiting Thiksey monastery and Shey palace}

  Full day trip, after early morning breakfast we leave聽Pangong Lake聽through聽Changla pass (5,300 mtr, 17,586 ft) world third highest motorable road in the world.聽After 3 hrs of drive you reach to Changla pass, stop for a short period for photography, where you can relax for a cup聽of tea/ coffee. Leaving Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few small villages. And on the way you can cover聽Shey Palace, Thiksey, Rancho School and Sindhu Ghat, after that return aback to Hotel and Overnight at hotel.
  Thiksey: This monastery is also known by Little Potala and it鈥檚 an Gelugpa sect and found during 15th century by Lama Sherab Zangpo Khampo Rinpochey is the current head of the Monastery. The main attraction of this monastery is the statue of Maiterya Buddha which is 15mtrs in height and in Gonkhang. Drive to Shey.
  Shey: Shey Palace is found during the 17th century by Ladakh king name Jamyang Namgyal and a statue of Lord Buddha which is copper gilts and 15 m in height is the main attraction. This statue was built by King Singay Namgyal in the loving memory of his father. Drive back to Leh. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 6 : LEH LOCAL EXCURSION聽

  After breakfast take a stroll in聽Leh city, by visiting聽Leh Museum and Leh old market. One can visit for a good lunch in Leh, as聽Leh聽serves variety of good restaurant with聽good music and ambience. 聽Last minute聽souvenir shopping for your dear ones. Overnight in hotel.
