Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Proceed to the Mountain Lodge/ Ark Lodge and enjoy game viewing too!

  On arrival at Nairobi Airport, you will be greeted by your friendly local representative as you disembark off the flight, assisted through immigration and custom procedures. After collecting your luggage, you will drive to the Mt. Kenya Area. Check into your Lodge, which is ideally located in the Mt. Kenya National Park and overlooking a water-hole. In the afternoon after a sumptuous lunch at the Lodge, you can watch a host of wild animals visiting the waterhole. This evening, enjoy a delicious dinner. Spend the night at the Lodge viewing various animals as they come to visit the waterhole and saltlicks. Dinner and overnight at the Mountain Lodge/ Ark Lodge.

• Day 2 : Ark Lodge-Samburu

  Breakfast at the lodge. Morning depart by road to Samburu Game Reserve located at the North rugged Semi desert region. Samburu Game Reserve is a wild and little visited region, well known for spectacular scenery and wildlife not found in the south: Reticulated Giraffe, the rare Grevy’s Zebra with its large furry ears, the Gerenuk antelope standing on its hind legs to feed and Somali Ostriches with their distinctive blue legs.
  Lunch upon arrival at your lodge then proceed on a game drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge or Samburu Sopa Lodge
• Day 3 : Explore Samburu

  Full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drive. You may see Elephant, Cheetah, Leopard, Eland, Oryx, Impala, Dikdik, Waterbuck and a variety of birds. This lava plain includes a varied landscape of red dirt, thorn scrub, broken volcanic rock, dried riverbeds, steep hills and rocky outcroppings. Following the river’s curves, a forest of Doum Palms, Acacia and Tamarind is a magical contrast of cool green. Other areas of the Reserve
  include the Uaso Nyiro River where crocodiles sun bath themselves on the banks. It also provides an oasis for a variety of game. Birds are abundant, with 365 species recorded, one for every day of the year. All meals and overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge or Samburu Sopa Lodge

• Day 4 : Onto the luxurious Mt. Kenya Safari Club – passing by the Equator.

  Breakfast at the lodge. Morning drive to the Mt. Kenya Area, to the highest mountain in Kenya, straddling the Equator – Mt. Kenya. This Mountain is filled with distinctive giant vegetation and the vast gentle slopes are cloaked in lush forest and bamboo jungle. You also get a chance to stop at the Equator. Check in at the famous Mt. Kenya Safari Club, from where you can enjoy a spectacular view of Mt. Kenya – the highest peak of Kenya. Later, enjoy an Indian lunch here. The beautiful and majestic surroundings abound with a variety of game, including elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, several species of gazelles and monkeys. This evening, enjoy a delicious Indian dinner. Overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club.

• Day 5 : Onto the beautiful Lake Nakuru. Visit to baboon cliff. 395kms 6hours

  After an American breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru set in a picturesque landscape of surrounding woodland and grassland next to Nakuru town. After a sumptuous Indian lunch at the lodge, we proceed on an exciting game-drive including a visit to Baboon cliff. You have a chance to see the white rhino and sighting of leopards at Lake Nakuru. You can get a close view of the pink flamingos and other water birds – a total of 450 varieties. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the Lodge. Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or Lake Nakuru Lodge or Flamingo Hill Camp
• Day 6 : Nakuru-Mara Game Reserve

  Breakfast at the Lodge. Morning proceed to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley. En route enjoy the beautiful scenery. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and check in at the lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive. Spotting lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators is the highlight of your day. This evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at your lodge. Overnight at Sentrim Mara Camp or Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Sarova Camp or similar
• Day 7 : A full day of game-viewing!

  After breakfast, proceed on a full-day game-viewing drive to search for the myriad species of game that make this reserve their home. If you are lucky, you can witness the kill in action, moment by moment, right in front of your unbelieving eyes! After a sumptuous lunch at your lodge, proceed for another exciting game drive, where you can expect to see the famous 'Big 5'. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at your lodge. Overnight at Sentrim Mara Camp or Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Sarova Camp or similar
• Day 8 : Mara -Nairobi

  After breakfast, return to Nairobi arriving early afternoon. Rest of the day is spent at leisure for optional activities. Overnight at Overnight at Sentrim Boulevard Hotel- Intercontinental Hotel or similar in Nairobi
• Day 9 : Nairobi/Amboseli

  Breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive to the Amboseli National Park with game drives en-route to the lodge. Lunch at the Lodge. Afternoon game drive.
  The Park is famous for its breath-taking views of Kilimanjaro. The Park also shelters more than 420 species of birds. Enormous Elephant population and other big game are attracted to the area by underground springs fed from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro.
  Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Amboseli Camp or Amboseli Serena Lodge or Amboseli Sopa Lodge

• Day 10 : Explore Amboseli

  Morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli National park. All meals and overnight at Sentrim Amboseli Camp or Amboseli Serena Lodge or Amboseli Sopa Lodge
  Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for a morning game drive. The Park is known for its felines: Lion, Leopard and cheetah as well as serval and civet cats. Herds of graceful Impala thrive on the short grass in the woodlands, along with the black-faced vervet monkey and Olive Baboon. Hippos live in the open waters and swamp channels and Buffalo feed on the shoreline. This is the place to encounter large numbers of Elephants, observing their complex greeting rituals and the way all the adult females protect and instruct the young. The Amboseli Elephant population is one of the few in Africa that has not been ravaged by poachers.
  Masai warriors are famous and are proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with wild animals are known across the world.
