Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Kampala - Kibale National Park

    You’re picked up in the morning by your guide and driver for the safari from a hotel in Kampala or Entebbe to proceed to Kibale Forest National Park, the most accessible of Uganda's major rainforests. Kibale is home to a remarkable 13 primate species, including the much localized red colobus and L'Hoest's monkey. Kibale's major attraction, however, is the opportunity to track habituated chimps - these delightful apes, more closely related to humans than to any other living creature, and are tremendous fun to watch as they squabble and play in fruiting trees.

  • Day 2 : Kibale National Park -Queen Elizabeth National Park

    After breakfast, we will embark on the popular chimp tracking an experience that lasts 2 to 4 hours. A network of shady forest trails provides much to delight in for botanists and butterfly lovers, if you love birds; you are in for a treat with 335 species recorded including the endemic Prirogrine's ground thrush. After this exciting experience return to your accommodation for and get the bags ready to transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park.

  • Day 3 : Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Early riser today, 06:00am grab a coffee and out to catch the lions, hyenas hunting before they disappear into the thickets. Other animals to see on the game drive are; cape buffalo, the handsome Uganda kob, warthog, elephant, leopard, waterbuck. At 03:00pm, take a cruise on the Kazinga channel a haven for over 600 bird types, hippo, crocodile, Cape buffalo.

  • Day 4 : Queen Elizabeth National Park-Bwindi National Park

    Wake up to a relaxed Breakfast before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park host to the Mountain Gorillas. Arrive to check in, relax or go for an evening village walk or souvenir shopping in the local craft shops.

  • Day 5 : Bwindi National Park -gorilla tracking

    After 06:45am breakfast, head to the information center for a briefing before embarking on the long awaited trek. Gorilla tracking may last only 3 hours or up to 8 hours or more of the day sometimes with rain overhead so be prepared with sturdy hiking boots, waterproof jacket. After a satisfactory trek, return to lodge for a well-deserved hot shower and rest.

  • Day 6 : Bwindi-Lake Mburo National Park

    After a relaxed breakfast with great memories of the mountain gorillas depart Bwindi heading to Lake Mburo National Park the best place in the country to see the gigantic eland antelope, as well as zebra, topi, impala, and several acacia-associated birds. On arrival to the park enjoy a game drive en route to the overnight accommodation while looking out for wildlife that includes the elusive leopard, jackals, hyenas, zebra and the newly introduced giraffes among others. Lake Mburo National park is unique for its five lakes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles and a variety of water birds plus swamps which hide secretive papyrus specialists such as the sitatunga antelope and red, black and yellow papyrus gonalek.

  • Day 7 : Lake Mburo National Park -Entebbe

    After an early breakfast go for a nature walk experience accompanied by an armed range through the park. This a refreshing and unique experience that gives you the chance to go through the park on foot. On return from this activity head for drop off at Entebbe international Airport or at a hotel for an early morning flight the next days.
    Wake up for an early breakfast before heading to Entebbe via Kampala with stops to buy souvenirs along the way. Head to the airport for late night flight home.

When you confirm a safari with Border-Less Travel we assume that you have read, understood and agreed to our terms and conditions. Please make some time to read the terms and conditions that apply to your safari with us.

RESERVATIONS


  • Please confirm on the following items before confirming your safari with Border-Less Travel: special requests for the participants like, medical needs, diet restrictions, requirements relating to disabilities and any other requirements. Border-Less Travel will meet the requests if possible.

  • All our packages are subject to availability at the time of your booking and the same applies to the lodges and hotels offered by Border-Less Travel due to limited capacity. It’s therefore a pre-requisite to make reservations in advance of your planned safari.

  • Border-Less Travel Ltd. provides transportation, accommodation bookings, restaurant meals, excursions and other services in cooperation with independent suppliers. All information detailed in client itineraries is given to the best of our knowledge. Border-Less Travel Ltd shall not be liable for modified information from third parties, or obvious typing errors.

  • We require your flight details and for gorilla permits we need: your full names as in your passport, nationality and passport number.

  • Should you wish to change your reservation in any way, Border-Less Travel will make the preferred adjustment where practicable and possible and confirm accordingly.ÌýWe reserve the right to charge an amendment fee relative to the actual costs, which will be added to the total invoice.

  • Border-Less Travel Ltd reserves the right to change and re-adjust the tour schedule, transportation, accommodation and services indicated in the itinerary in the event of unforeseen circumstances before arrival.ÌýAny changes to the itinerary will be communicated to the client as soon as possible.



  • 2. RATES


  • The rates quoted are as per the sold itinerary and number of travelers and includes the stated services against like: overnight accommodation, meals, activity fees, sightseeing as detailed in the itinerary, park entrance fees and ranger fees, airport transfers where applicable, ground transportation, English speaking driver/guides and bottled mineral water in the vehicle.

  • Excluded expenses are: international and domestic air fares, visa and passports, meals not mentioned in the itinerary, drinks other than the mineral water provided in the vehicle, tips and gratuities for the guides and accommodation staff, laundry, travel insurance and other items of a personal nature.

  • Prices on the website or quoted to our clients are subject to change without notice and are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing.

  • Border-Less Travel reserves the right to adjust prices at any time should there be any fluctuation in the exchange rate or increase in the cost of any element of the tour. The company will however make every effort to minimize any increases.



  • 3. IMPLEMENTING THE TOUR



  • It is a privilege to see animals in their natural habitat and as such, we cannotÌýguarantee wildlife or game viewing. You must take caution when viewing the animals and carefully follow the instructions given by either the tour guide or wildlife rangers.

  • A gorilla or chimpanzee permit guarantees clients will be able to track the primates in question but does not guarantee that the animals will be in plain sight.

  • Accommodation is based on a twin -2beds in a room or double -1 big bed for a couple room, tent or banda, with private bathroom where possible. Single rooms may be available with the payment of a supplement fee but availability cannot always be guaranteed.

  • Border-Less Travel reserves the right to substitute to an equivalent or superior accommodation, should a hotel of equivalent standard not be available. (Extra charges may apply).

  • The kind of transport used shall depend on the number of clients and the safari routing based on the confirmed itinerary. Border-Less Travel ensures that all vehicles provided for safari are in a roadworthy condition but will not accept liability for punctures, unforeseen damage, breakdown or delays as a result of the poor road conditions.

  • Border-Less Travel reserves the right to alter any route or arrangement, to cancel the operation of any scheduled tour or vary the safari services in any way in the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as road closures, bad weather, problems with national parks or hotels and security considerations. In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made as circumstances permit.

  • In the case of an ongoing tour our experienced English speaking driver/guides are a vital part of your safari and the only ones authorized to drive Border-Less Travel vehicles. The driver will therefore reserves the right to make judgment on possible detours based on the state of the roads and will communicate this to the safari participants beforehand.

  • Border-Less Travel reserves the right toÌýrefuse any person from participating or continuing any tour if in Border-Less Travel opinion or in the opinion of any other person in authority, the person concerned behaves in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger, hazard or inconvenience to any third party, damage to property or to environments and ecosystems. No refunds will be made and Border-Less Travel shall not be liable for expenses incurred as a result of the termination.



  • 4. PAYMENT


  • All tours will only be booked and confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit payment of the total safari price and 100% payment for the chimpanzee and gorilla permits.

  • The balance for the tour is paid 1month before the safari commences unless agreed otherwise.

  • Bookings made within 30days before arrival shall be paid in full as soon as the trip is confirmed.

  • Border-Less Travel accepts payment by VISA credit card, bank transfer or cash, before the start of the safari. Note that payments by VISA credit card attract a 5% service charge and is incurred by the client. Credit card transactions shall be made at least 1 month before the safari commences.



  • 5. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS


    ÌýAll cancellations shall be made in writing and shall be effective on the date of actual receipt by Border-Less Travel.


  • 3-2months before departure 10% charge

  • 2months before departure 24% charge

  • 59 -32days before departure 35% charge

  • 1month -3weeks before arrival 50% charge

  • 2-1week before arrival- 74%

  • 6days –2days before departure 100%

  • Border-Less Travel reserves the right to deduct all expenses incurred from the paid deposits.

  • Gorilla permits and air tickets are 100% non-refundable.

  • No refunds will be made for any unused services as a result of no-show of any of the tour members.



  • 6. COMPLAINTS



  • Border-Less Travel will ensure that the Ìýsafari arrangement and implementation goes beyond expectations to the best of our knowledge but still welcomes suggestions to continually improve the quality of our services.

  • Complaints shall be reported immediately to a Border-Less Travel representative and to the supplier of the service in question, who shall look into it and resolve it agreeably. If the problem is not solved to the client’s satisfaction, the complaint should be reported in writing in not later than 30 days after the safari is completed.

  • Liability for any complaints not notified in accordance with the above described procedure shall not be accepted.



  • 7. LIABILITY


    Border-Less Travel shall ensure that all arrangements and services listed as part of the safari are delivered in the most efficient way possible. However, the company shall not have direct control of the provision of services by suppliers and, whilst every supplier is chosen carefully, Border-Less Travel will not accept liability for errors or omissions of such suppliers.

    Border-Less Travel shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature whatsoever whether to person or property.

    Border-Less Travel cannot be held responsible for the direct or indirect costs of loss or damage to baggage or personal possessions.

    Border-Less Travel cannot accept liability or pay compensation for unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the company or its staff, including flight delays/cancellations or force majeure such as war or threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist acts, border closure, acts of government or other authorities, strikes, thefts, epidemics, road closures, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, extreme weather conditions, fire, technical and/or mechanical problems to transport and all similar events beyond the company’s control.

    It is the responsibility of the travel agency/wholesaler to ensure that all members of the tour have the appropriate passports, visas, travel permits, health certificates and other documentation required for the safari.

    It is the responsibility of the clients to take proper medical and practical precautions in regard to health and safety. Medical advice should be sought well before travelling.

    Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance before coming to Uganda.

    The respective laws of the country govern Border-Less Travel’s liability to passengers carried in its own vehicles.
