You'll visit Tanzania's premier northern national parks, explore the majestic "Mountain of God," and have the opportunity to witness all of the Big Five. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Tarangire National Park

  After a safari briefing in the morning, you鈥檒l embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. This stunning park, known for its giant baobab trees, bush savannah, and seasonal marshes, offers a captivating wilderness experience. Tarangire is one of the best places to get up close to elephants, with large herds frequently spotted throughout the park. You鈥檒l also encounter buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of predators, including lions. While leopards are occasionally seen, cheetahs are rarer to spot. From the open-roof safari jeep, you鈥檒l enjoy panoramic views of the landscape and observe wildlife in their natural habitat. In the late afternoon, you鈥檒l exit the park and head to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Lake Natron

  After passing Mto wa Mbu, you'll leave the paved road behind as the journey takes you along the dramatic slopes of the East African Rift Valley. The drive offers scenic views, passing Maasai villages and the sacred Maasai mountain, Ol Doinyo Lengai. As you approach the Maasai village of Ngare Sero, you鈥檒l be just a short distance from Lake Natron.
  
  This remarkable lake is home to an extraordinary variety of wildlife, especially around 2.5 million lesser flamingos, which use the lake as their primary breeding ground.
  Surrounded by breathtaking, untouched landscapes, Lake Natron offers one of Africa鈥檚 most beautiful and pristine settings. You鈥檒l have the chance to hike to the lake and explore the nearby waterfalls, a refreshing oasis where you can swim and unwind. Your overnight stay will be at Africa Safari Lake Natron, a perfect base to relax and soak in the natural beauty of the area.

• Day 3 : Serengeti national park

  The entire day will be dedicated to thrilling game viewing in the Serengeti, with your exploration tailored to where the migrating herds are located. As these herds trek across the plains, they are closely followed by predators such as lions, leopards (often seen resting in the acacia trees), and cheetahs.
  
  The timing of the Great Migration is determined by the seasonal rains: during the short rainy season in November and December, the herds move from the northern hills to the southern plains, while in the longer rainy season from April to June, they head back north. Since the migration is entirely dependent on the rainfall, the location of the herds can vary each year. However, your expert guide will know exactly where to find them and ensure you experience the best wildlife sightings.
  
  After a day full of incredible wildlife encounters, you鈥檒l spend the night at Tukaone Serengeti Camp, offering a comfortable and memorable stay amidst the Serengeti鈥檚 vast beauty.

• Day 4 : Serengeti national park

• Day 5 : Ngorongoro crater

  Rise and shine! Today, you鈥檒l journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending into the famed Ngorongoro Crater. With a diameter of 17-21 kilometers, the crater is home to a remarkable diversity of wildlife. Almost all of East Africa鈥檚 savannah species can be found here, with the exception of giraffes and a few other animals that are unable to navigate the steep crater walls.
  
  Depending on the season, between 15,000 and 25,000 animals inhabit the crater, with the majority being buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. This abundance of grazers attracts a high concentration of predators, making Ngorongoro the area with the highest predator density in Africa. Over 100 lions live in several prides, along with a range of other predators.
  In the afternoon, you鈥檒l ascend the steep crater walls before heading to your lodge for a relaxing overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Lake Manyara - Airport

  The park is dominated by the stunning lake of the same name, which draws large colonies of water birds. The sight of vibrant pink flamingos is particularly striking, but you鈥檒l also encounter a wide variety of other bird species, including cormorants, pelicans, and storks. With around 400 different bird species residing in the park, it鈥檚 a birdwatcher鈥檚 paradise.
  
  The park is also renowned for its tree-climbing lions, which are typically found in the central and open areas of the park. During your safari, you鈥檒l have the chance to see elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and many other wildlife species in their natural habitat.
  
  Around noon, you will depart the park and head back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to conclude your safari adventure.
